The Atlas® ST-7000 Extra Tall 4 Post Storage Lift

ST-7000-300x225The Atlas® ST-7000 is the perfect lift for those car enthusiasts lucky enough to have extra tall ceilings and need to store regular height vehicles on top of extra tall vehicles.

This extra tall four post storage lift has been “on the drawing board” for over a year. We have had many customers ask us for a 4 post lift that goes “extra high” to either store an extra tall vehicle under the raised car or to raise a car high enough to be stored on the second floor of a building.

ST-7000-Runway-Jack-Tracks-300x225This super tall four post storage lift uses the same heavy duty runways found on the Atlas® GP-9000. These commercial grade runways have welded jack tracks to accommodate the full line of professional rolling center jacks.. The extra tall lifting height gives customers the space needed to park much taller vehicles under the lifted vehicle. There are 21 locking positions in the lock ladder. The lock ladder may be adjusted during installation so that an almost infinite number of locking heights may be obtained.

A single point release toggle (located next to the power unit) automatically unlocks all four spring loaded pneumatic locks. Compressed air is required to disengage the locks (air supply not included). The emergency slack cable secondary lock system is always “on standby” and will engage automatically if the aircraft cables are compromised or becomes too slack.

What makes our Atlas Edge 801 Alignment Machine the best truck aligner value in the Industry?

801-Alignment-Machine-Side-By-Side-5001-300x158The Atlas® Edge 801 Alignment Machine is the most innovative large (over the road semi) Truck Alignment System sold throughout the   world.

The Atlas® 801 features a Bluetooth wireless data transmission system and the software is customized for all truck axle configurations – 2, 3, 4 and 5 axle configurations.

Why push a truck in your shop when you don’t have to?

ATEDGE-801-KIT-8-300x225They have to push and roll the truck just to make a measurement…..we do not. We measure the truck in a static position…perfectly still….on the turnplates…..the way it is supposed to be done. They have to roll the truck because they must do a runout compensation procedure due to their wheel clamps being less than accurate. During this rolling their sensor head measures the lateral runout created by their Wheel Clamps and then compensates for that runout so that their toe measurement is correct.

Our Solution: Produce a wheel clamp that is highly precise…..one that measures the center of the wheel and not the outer rim….no artificial runout is induced and therefore none has to be compensated for….THE RESULT? A faster and more precise alignment measurement WITHOUT ROLLING THE TRUCK!

What Makes Atlas Tire Changers Better?

What makes the Atlas wheel clamp tire changers so superior to the other wheel clamp tire changers made in China?

Our Asian factory is the premier tire changer and wheel balancer manufacturer in China.

Our Atlas manufacturing factory is based on the theory that vertical integration manufacturing is superior to the horizontal manufacturing process. While Other Chinese manufacturers buy the majority of their component parts from dozens of small Chinese factories and assemble these component parts to produce their tire changers and wheel balancers, our Atlas factory does not buy from other unknown small manufacturers. Our Atlas factory either owns or controls the manufacturers who make the Atlas wheel service component parts.

Although the Atlas brand of product is much lower in price than the big name brands, the Atlas tire changers may still be slightly higher in price than some of the no-name Chinese products offered by many of the Internet web sites.

Protect Your Wheel Balancer and Alignment Machine

With Battery Backup and Surge Protection

Just like with your computer, it is important that you protect your Atlas Computer Wheel Balancer and your Atlas Computer Alignment Machine from unexpected power failures and power surges.

The proper functioning of your a computer wheel balancer or alignment machine depends upon software stored on a computer chip housed on the computer’s motherboard.  Just like with your home computer, an unexpected power outage can damage the software – or other components – of the computer system that operates your wheel balancer or aligner.  Similarly, a power surge – a sudden spike in voltage – can “fry” the sensitive electrical components in your equipment, rendering it unusable.  For this reason, a battery backup product, with a surge protector, should always be used with you Atlas computer wheel balancer and your Atlas alignment machine.

Lug Centric vs Hub Centric Wheels

There are two distinct types of wheels found on today’s cars and light trucks. There are Hub Centric wheels and there are Lug Centric wheels.

The most common wheels today are Hub Centric in design. This means the center hole of these wheels is the actual center bore of the wheel. These wheels can be properly mounted and accurately balanced using the standard cone system available with your Atlas Wheel Balancer.

However, a large number of today’s aftermarket wheels are what we call “Lug Centric” in design. This means that the center hole of the wheel is not the true center. Because of this, these wheels cannot be properly mounted and balanced using the standard cone system provided with your Atlas Wheel Balancer.

How Does a Bead Blaster Work?

“What is a Bead Blaster?”  “Do I need a Bead Blaster?”  We often hear these two questions – or variations on the theme – when working with customers purchasing our Atlas Tire Changers.

A tire changer’s bead blaster system delivers a large volume of high pressure air into the interior cavity of a tubeless tire in order to help seat the “beads” of the tire to the wheel assembly. Many such tires have exceptionally stiff sidewalls and the beads of these tires will not properly seat simply by inflating via the valve stem.

All tire changer bead blaster systems operate in the same basic way, but the Atlas tire changers utilize a special internal hose and oversized tank system that delivers up to 50% more volume and pressure than most other bead blaster systems.
